About

Hi! I’m Annie.

I’m a user experience researcher living in Atlanta, Georgia.

I have a varied career background that eventually led me into UX. I went to the University of Florida 🐊 and graduated with degrees in both Criminology and Russian. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with these degrees (I promise I’m not a spy…) so after college, I worked odd jobs in restaurant management and the local rock gym.

Once I moved to Atlanta, I explored the tech scene and eventually landed a role at a start-up doing sales development. I soon found I loved the fast-paced environment that reminded me of my busy restaurant shifts. Sales wasn’t my passion, but connecting with customers was. I moved to customer success which scratched that itch, but a piece of me wanted to get my hands dirty and really solve customer needs with the product .

I tried my hand at front-end development and am so thankful for free classes to show me that wasn’t my forte. I kept searching for that blend of customer-facing, creative problem solving, and product solutioning, and eventually found user experience.

The last few years, I have been working on products that users have embedded into their work-life. I love seeing the impacts of my work reflected in customer satisfaction and hope to bring this passion into my next role. 👩🏻‍💻
